Delete your BirdGuide community account and data

In the app

1. Open BirdGuide Settings.
2. Open Community Photos.
3. Choose Delete community account and confirm.

This deletes your Firebase Authentication account, community profile, block list, submitted originals, derivatives, and public submissions. It does not delete local sightings or personal photos stored only on your device.

If you cannot access the app

Email support@smalkworks.com from the email associated with your BirdGuide sign-in and use the subject “BirdGuide account deletion request.” We will verify account ownership before deletion.

A minimal completion/security record may remain for up to 90 days; legal preservation duties may require longer retention.
